A Growing Group
With Chambers Tutoring, you are joining a company on the rise. We are a new name in the tutoring world and we will continue to put all of our energy into improving in every way. We have seen some new faces join our team recently and we always love to welcome new tutors! Every new tutor will be announced on social media and will be added to our ‘Meet the Tutors’ section of our main website, if they would like.
A New Approach
Chambers Tutoring are heavily based online. We do offer face-to-face sessions but most of our work is done online via Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom or otherwise depending on the preference of the tutor or the student. We believe that the events of 2020 taught us that while the desire for physical tutoring is still there, many people prefer to learn from the comfort of their own homes. And some of our tutors also prefer to teach this way as well!
You can still be a travelling tutor, and you can even have a bit of both. However, not wanting to work in public is not a deal breaker when applying to join Chambers Tutoring.
Meet the Other Tutors
Chambers Tutoring is all about connections and relationships. We don’t see how work can be completed to a high standard without co-operation and communication. Because of this, we will have a meeting with every potential tutor, either in person or via an online call, so that we know who each other are and the bond starts building early.
We also plan to have our tutors meet each other at some point with company social events and outings. Ideally, our work force will be a group of good friends who all know their stuff! We want CT to feel like a team effort, because that’s what it is! Our relationships with our tutors are just as important as their relationships with their students
Students? Yes!
While experience is always welcomed, we would really love to see students take an interest in tutoring. You will already have seen that the role has a flexible schedule so you can fit it around all of your studies. We find that a lot of kids connect better with a tutor who is younger. This isn’t always the case, and everyone should feel free to apply.
We know how tough finding a student job can be but wouldn’t you rather be tutoring and choosing your own hours instead of a job that doesn’t have that flexibility?
We will do everything to help you organise your schedule if you would like to tutor with us but you only have very limited available hours. Any work you do with CT is worthwhile and much appreciated. 1 session per week or 10, it all adds up and it all benefits the students which is the most important thing.
A Career Choice
We won’t disclose pricing publicly but we can tell you that tutoring with us is a reasonable future career choice. The two founders ourselves are full-time tutors and we love every minute of it. If it’s something you would like to aspire to, Chambers Tutoring would be an ideal fit for you, and vice versa!
No Exclusivity
Already a tutor? Not a problem! Here at Chambers Tutoring, we don’t require you to drop any other work that you are doing! All we ask is that you take a minimum of one student that we find for you. You can continue any and all other tutoring roles that we don’t provide for you.
